Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Thymely (“Thymely,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our recipe extraction and meal-planning service (the “Service”). By using Thymely, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and authentication details needed to sign you in.
  • Recipe content. Recipes you save, create, or upload — including ingredients, instructions, photos, notes, ratings, meal plans, and grocery lists.
  • Usage information. Basic information about how you interact with the Service, used to operate, maintain, and improve it.
  • Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To extract and organize recipes you save, including from URLs and photos.
  • To manage your account, subscription, and family-sharing features.
  • To send you important service-related communications.
  • To protect against fraud, abuse, and security risks.

Recipe extraction and AI processing

To turn a recipe URL or photo into structured ingredients and steps, the relevant content is processed using third-party artificial-intelligence services. This processing is used solely to produce the extracted recipe for you. Please avoid uploading sensitive personal information within recipe photos or notes.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service, including providers for hosting and database storage, payment processing, email delivery, and AI-based recipe extraction. These providers process information only as needed to perform their services for us.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. Recipes are private by default. When you choose to share a recipe using a share link, that specific recipe becomes viewable by anyone with the link. Within a family group, recipes and plans you contribute may be visible to other members of that group.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your recipes at any time, and you can request deletion of your account by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

  • You can access and update your recipes and profile from within the app.
  • You can delete individual recipes or request full account deletion.
  • You can contact us to ask questions about your data.

Children

Thymely is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
